Carol graduated from Greensboro College in Greensboro, North Carolina where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. She then attended The George Washington University School of Health Sciences where she received a bachelor's degree in physician assistant studies in 1985.

She joined Radiologic Associates of Fredericksburg and VIVA in 2001 after numerous years of work in the Cardio-Thoracic and Vascular Surgery field.

Carol is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, and a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
