Fredericksburg, VA (PRUnderground) September 30th, 2019 — Radiologic Associates of Fredericksburg (RAF) welcomes three new Radiologists to the practice: Drs. Robin Gwaltney, Akhil Khetarpal and Heather Newman. Dr. Gwaltney is Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology and completed her women’s imaging fellowship at Ellen Shaw de Paredes Institute of Women’s Imaging, after which she joined Radiology of Huntsville, Alabama. Dr. Gwaltney will continue her dedicated service to women at both the Imaging Center for Women in Fredericksburg and North Stafford.

Dr. Khetarpal returns to the region after having completed his vascular and interventional radiology fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He will be serving patients as an Interventional Radiologist at Virginia Interventional and Vascular Associates, as well as supporting Interventional Radiology services at both Mary Washington Hospital and Stafford Hospital.

Dr. Newman is Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology with a subspecialty in Neuroradiology. Following her fellowship in neuroradiology at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University School of Medicine, she served as a Neuroradiologist at Medical Imaging of Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania and will serve at the various Medical Imaging of Fredericksburg and hospital locations.
