Virginia Interventional & Vascular Associates (VIVA) has achieved two accreditations that speak to the excellence of its patient care, noted VIVA Director Jennifer Dawson. The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) has accredited VIVA following an independent, external evaluation process that distinguishes this office-based surgery center from many other outpatient facilities. VIVA has also been granted an additional three-year accreditation by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) in Vascular Testing, in the areas of extracranial cerebrovascular testing, peripheral arterial testing, and peripheral venous testing.
