For Dr. Glasser, working in a hospital emergency department (ED) was the catalyst for a career in medicine. In his fourth year at the University of Pennsylvania, he volunteered in a local ED. "I saw how, with medical training, I could help people immediately, in what may be their most vulnerable moment.
Dr. Glasser joined the practice in 1999. He has impressed colleagues over the years with his profound grasp of musculoskeletal imaging, which is his subspecialty. Working with patients and colleagues is rewarding for him on many levels. He says "Now, more than twenty years later, I can honestly say that I still enjoy coming to work every day."
Dr. Glasser, his wife, Dr. Joanna Wares, and their three daughters live in Richmond. His family is an active one, as they enjoy the outdoors, exercise, music, and art. This includes playing Ultimate Frisbee. "We were looking for a family activity to do during the pandemic, and Ultimate Frisbee won out."
