It was family that inspired Dr. Green's medical career. He was close with his grandfather, a rural South Florida physician who made house calls. "He was just an incredible physician, and there was an outpouring of grief in the community when he passed away," says Dr. Green.
While pursuing his medical degree at Baylor, Dr. Green says he was "astounded by all the pathology that is seen in radiology. I was fascinated by the fact that almost every specialty coalesced into radiology, and that 75% of diagnoses are made through medical imaging." Today, Dr. Green is helping physicians and patients by serving as Physician Director of Nuclear Medicine, PET imaging, and Cardiac Imaging with RAF at Mary Washington Healthcare."
When he's off duty, Dr. Green enjoys running, playing tennis, and taking vacations with his wife, Cindy, and their three children.
