Christine graduated from the University of Virginia in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science in Education in the Sports Medicine Program. She received her Master of Education in Athletic Training from the University of Virginia in 1992. She practiced as an Athletic Trainer in Richmond, VA, and then taught on the faculty of the Athletic Training Program at James Madison University from 1996-1999. She received a Bachelor of Science in the Physician Assistant Program at James Madison University in 2001.
Prior to joining VIVA, Christine worked as an Orthopedic Physician Assistant for almost 4 years and worked as a Cardiology Physician Assistant for over 11 years.
She is certified through NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants) and is licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia, Board of Medicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Virginia Academy of Physician Assistants.
